System Requirements

To ensure an optimal user experience and the proper functioning of all features in Moonner, the following system requirements are recommended:

Operating System:

Moonner Crypto Tracker and its various modules, namely Investment, Portfolio, Trading USD, and Trading BTC, are compatible with both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. However, due to certain platform-specific features, the TAX-UK module currently only supports Microsoft Windows.

Hardware Requirements:

Moonner is designed to be efficient and lightweight, but due to the complex calculations and extensive data handling involved, the following hardware specifications are recommended:

• CPU: 4-core processor or better. A high-performance CPU will ensure smooth operation even with large amounts of data.

• RAM: Minimum 8GB, with 16GB recommended for optimal performance. This will ensure the smooth functioning of the software, especially when handling large datasets.

Software Requirements:

• Windows 10 or 11: Ensure that your operating system is up-to-date to make the most of the software's capabilities.

• Microsoft Excel: The latest version of Microsoft Excel is recommended to ensure compatibility with all features. Please note that Microsoft Excel 2016 or later is required. Currently, Excel Online is not supported due to its limited VBA capabilities.

Microsoft Excel Version:

Ensure that you are using Microsoft Excel 2016 or later to enjoy all the features that Moonner has to offer.

Internet Connection:

An active internet connection is required for live updates, currency conversions, and accessing up-to-date crypto data.

Excel Settings:

Ensure that your Excel settings allow for macros, as Moonner uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for various functions.
